During their work with students, teachers noticed challenges students face when it comes to visualization of the structures of chemical compounds. Nowadays, students are dynamic and more visually oriented, but chemistry lessons are still often conducted without the use of digital technology. Although the needs of developing digital competence of teachers are often discussed, there is still a visible lack of opportunities when it comes to possibilities of education in this area. The problem also arises when it comes to the way digital tools should be implemented in the teaching process.
The 1st Transnational Project Meeting was organized on March 15, 2022, online, via the Zoom video platform. The main goals of the 1st TPM are getting to know project partners better and to exchange ideas and visions in order to work together as successfully as possible in the next two years, as well as to get to know the project goals and project activities in more detail.
The 2nd Transnational Project Meeting was held online via the Zoom platform due to restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The second transnational meeting was held online on May 16, 2022 via the Zoom video platform, and the project teams had the opportunity to exchange experiences of implementing project activities during the first seven months of the project, but also to agree in more detail on ideas and plans related to the work on the creation of the curriculum.
The 3rd Transnational Project Meeting was held from January 19 to 20, 2023. The host of the meeting was Gimnazija Anton Aškerc, i.e., Šolski Center Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The 4th Transnational Project Meeting was held between September 19 and 20, 2023. The host of the meeting was Střední průmyslová škola chemická Pardubice, Czech Republic.
The final conference of the Erasmus+ project Chemical Dancing Models - ChemDM was held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Vladimir Prelog Science School and online.
