In the period from May 8 to 12, 2023, the 2nd Learning, teaching and training activity was organized, and the host of the activity was the SOU Gimnazija “Mirche Acev” Prilep, Macedonia.
The main goal of this activity was to test and evaluate the curriculum 3D World of Chemistry, and students, together with their chemistry teachers, had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work in the program, which offers students the possibility of visualizing the structures of chemical compounds, enabling a better understanding of chemistry and the structure of chemical compounds. Students are given a completely different insight into chemical processes that will come to life in a 3D display.
In addition, the students visited the capital city of Northern Macedonia – Skopje, city of Kruševo, the ancient city of Stobi, the Hydrobiological Institute, Lake Ohrid and the city of Ohrid, where they had the opportunity to see what paper production looks like on a replica of Gutenberg’s machine. A visit to the School of Chemistry was also organized, as well as to the Vitaminka factory, where the students, in addition to the actual process of making sweets, also had the opportunity to see what the process of laboratory quality testing of the obtained products looks like. These activities enabled the students to see the application of the material they study in school in everyday life.
They improved their communication skills in a foreign language, made new friends and gained new knowledge and unforgettable experiences.
